The Brazilian could return from injury in Liverpool’s upcoming Europa League clash.
Liverpool have travelled to Germany for Thursday night’s first-leg quarter-final away to Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.
Given that Dortmund smashed Premier League title-chasing Tottenham 5-1 on aggregate in the previous round, Reds fans could be forgiven for fearing Thomas Tuchel’s side at Signal Iduna Park.
That being said, pre-match anxiety might dissipate somewhat following the news that Roberto Firmino could make his comeback from injury in the clash.
The in-form Brazilian, who has not played since the 1-1 draw at Manchester United in the last-16 stage on March 17, boarded the flight to Germany and fans will hope to catch a glimpse of him on the pitch tomorrow night.
Firmino, 24, was snapped prior to boarding the plane, before the forward took a selfie with compatriot Philippe Coutinho.
Spurs, who sit 17 points ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Premier League, were humbled by the Bundesliga outfit by a 3-0 scoreline last month, and Klopp, on his return to Die Borussen, will be desperate to leave with a better result than the North Londoners managed.
