Leeds United have reportedly targeted Spartak Moscow winger Ze Luis to aid their Championship title charge.

If reports in Russia are to be believed, Leeds United have just made their biggest bid since Robbie Fowler arrived at Elland Road 17 years ago.
According to Championat, the Championship table-toppers have offered a staggering £10.5 million to bring Spartak Moscow star Ze Luis to Elland Road in what would be a dramatic end to the January transfer window.
A 17-cap Cape Verde international, the winger is one of the top players in Russian football, winning the domestic league and cup double in 2017.
But what could Leeds fans expect from Ze Luis if he makes the unexpected, and highly expensive, switch to West Yorkshire? Judging by October’s thrilling 3-3 draw between Spartak and Villarreal in the Europa League group stages, the gifted winger would provide goals and combativeness in equal measure.

Ze Luis scored twice against the La Liga outfit, coolly converting a first-half penalty before powering home a terrific header that would make Alan Shearer proud after the interval.
It that wasn’t enough, he then got involved in a multi-player scuffle as the game threatened to boil over. With five yellow cards to his name this season, Ze Luis is clearly someone who will not shy away when the going gets tough.
