Glasgow Rangers Liam Burt will not be in Pedro Caixinha’s immediate plans.
Glasgow Rangers talent Liam Burt faces a spell on the sidelines after undergoing a hip operation.
Burt posted a message on Twitter after successful surgery on his injury, and is feeling relatively positive about his situation.
18-year-old Burt made his debut for Rangers’ first team under Mark Warburton in the 2015/16 season, and is highly regarded.
The Scotland youth international was hoping to impress new boss Pedro Caixinha this campaign and start trying to establish himself in the Portuguese’s plans.

Those plans will have to wait and upon recovery, Burt is likely to be tasked with simply getting back to his best for Graeme Murty’s under-20 side.
It is frustrating for him, but also a test of character and his desire to make it to the top.

Rangers fans will wish him all the best and hope this is merely a stumbling block on his path to the very top.
