Despite losing Billy Gilmour, Glasgow Rangers have tied one promising Scottish youngster down at Ibrox.
Rangers youngster Zac Butterworth has signed a professional deal at the club and is determined to become a big success.
Butterworth turned 16 in March and has impressed the Rangers hierarchy with his performances for the club’s academy.

The teenager is an attacking midfielder who has represented Scotland at under-16 level.
Butterworth signing terms is a timely boost for Rangers who have just seen his teammate Billy Gilmour depart.
Gilmour was the club’s most highly rated youngster, and last week clinched a move to English Premier League champions Chelsea which netted the club a £500,000 fee, The Mail reported.

Unlike Gilmour, Butterworth appears to have genuine passion to go on and star for Rangers, and his message is an uplifting one after seeing his fellow youngster make the switch to Chelsea.
It would typically be several years before Butterworth makes his Rangers bow, but new boss Pedro Caixinha has shown he is not fearful of giving chances to young players, having handed Myles Beerman his debut at 18 earlier this year.
