Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers got back to winning ways today.

Rangers bounced back from last week’s horror show at Hampden Park by beating Hearts 2-1 at Ibrox today.

Second half-goals from Jason Cummings and Daniel Candeias gave Rangers a comfortable 2-0 lead, before Christophe Berra grabbed a 71st-minute consolation.

Victory has propelled Graeme Murty’s side back into second place in the Scottish Premiership but there is very little for the Gers to play for, aside from that.

Losing 4-0 to Celtic in a Scottish Cup semi-final ended their hopes of finishing the season with a trophy and the Hoops – who are 10 points clear at the summit – are strongly expected to win another domestic treble for the second season in succession.

Rangers’ board members Dave King and Alastair Johnston angered fans before and after the Celtic defeat with questionable statements.

And some supporters of the Ibrox club showed exactly what they think of things at the moment with a very blunt banner today.
