Rafael Camacho joined in Liverpool training today.

Jurgen Klopp put his Liverpool players through their paces at Melwood today ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

A score draw would be enough to see Liverpool advance into the quarter-final stage of the competition after the 0-0 stalemate at Anfield last month.

There was no sign of midfielder Naby Keita in training today, but Trent Alexander-Arnold was present.

The Reds’ right-back came off injured toward the end of Sunday’s 4-2 win over Burnley, prompting concern over his availability tomorrow, but he trained as normal today.

Another interesting player in attendance was 18-year-old Rafael Camacho, who made his senior debut for Liverpool as a right-back in the FA Cup defeat by Wolves in January.

Camacho has never played a Champions League game for the Merseyside giants and it’ll be interesting to see if Klopp brings him to Germany, perhaps as a back-up for Alexander-Arnold.

Jordan Henderson and James Milner – also present in training today – have filled in for Alexander-Arnold at times during the past couple of months.
