Young Liverpool duo Curtis Jones and Rafael Camacho were pictured in first team training yesterday as the Reds prepare to take on Watford.
Jurgen Klopp has a fully fit squad to choose from as he bids to get Liverpool’s Premier League challenge on track after defeat at Old Trafford last Saturday.
Getting youngsters Jones and Camacho involved is more of a nod to the future but it gives fans extra reason to be encouraged.
Camacho (top left) signed for Liverpool from Manchester City in 2016 and is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder.
The Portugal youth international has dazzled for the under-18s this season, scoring six goals in 13 games.
Curtis Jones (top right) is an England youth international who was subject of praise from Steven Gerrard this week.
He scored his fifth goal of the Reds’ UEFA Youth League campaign but missed a penalty in the shootout to Manchester City.
Getting the chance to train with Klopp’s first team is the perfect way for him to get over that disappointment, and gave him the chance to make an impression for future opportunities.
