The Irishman certainly looks like he will be back before May.
QPR are looking like a prime candidate for relegation at the moment, as the London club slipped up again at the weekend with a 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace.
The team has simply not been playing well enough in recent weeks and they have not been helped by injuries to key players. Key players such as experienced centre-back Richard Dunne.
The former Aston Villa player had played 18 matches this season before injuring his knee against Southampton in February.
But despite that prognosis, it would seem that Dunne is certainly ahead of schedule in his fight for fitness.
QPR posted the above picture on their official Twitter account earlier today, showing the determined defender going through his paces in what looks like a comeback bid.
Considering he is already back in light training, it looks as though Dunne is further along in his recovery process than first hoped.
If he can return before the end of April and provide some much needed steel to their flimsy backline, QPR still might claw their way out of the bottom three.
