The Telegraph have revealed that Steve Bruce and Matt Ritchie came to blows in Newcastle training recently, after the 1-1 draw against Wolves.
The incident happened when Bruce asked to see the Scot in his office, after Ritchie failed to pass on his instructions before Ruben Neves scored an equaliser.
The ex-Bournemouth man is said to have refused, and stayed on the training pitch where he called the 60-year-old a coward.
This was met with a furious response from Bruce, and Ritchie eventually backed down and apologised according to The Telegraph.
The Telegraph received this information on Wednesday, they state, and a photo of the 31-year-old in training was released by Getty yesterday.

Potentially, the image could’ve been taken after the incident.
The timeline of events is uncertain, as The Telegraph may have received their information a while after the clash actually happened.
Nevertheless, here is the photo of Ritchie looking rather happy in training, released yesterday as per the time stamp found in the caption.

We could be witnessing the Scot’s last few months as a Newcastle player.
The Telegraph add that Ritchie wanted to leave in January and Bruce was happy to sell him.
However, after a lack of January signings, the Newcastle No.11 was told to wait until the summer.
After this series of events, we feel his chances of leaving will have only increased.
