Leeds United and Huddersfield Town went head-to-head this weekend and there was plenty of incident both on and off the pitch.
Leeds United suffered a blow in their promotion hopes when they lost 2-1 to Huddersfield Town on Sunday afternoon.
The Whites looked to be moving towards a share of the spoils after Chris Wood cancelled out Izzy Brown’s opener, but Michael Hefele had other ideas, netting an 89th-minute winner that prompted some dramatic scenes on the side-lines.

Leeds boss Garry Monk and Huddersfield manager David Wagner squared up after the latter celebrate a little too excitedly and it was not long before the two sets of players got involved.
Among them was Leeds fan favourite Pontus Jansson, who was quick to challenge the opposing manager.

Jansson quickly endeared himself to Leeds supporters with his fighting spirit and clear understanding of the club, and he showed on Sunday that he is just as willing to fight for his gaffer as he is for his teammates.
Now a permanent member of the Whites’ squad, big things are expected of Jansson in the years ahead, and he will be hoping this is only a minor setback on their route back to the top flight after far too long away.
