Kieran Gibbs was in attendance at the Arsenal game last night with Jack Wilshere.

Old faces return

Gibbs, who left Arsenal back in 2017 for £7 million, current plays for Inter Miami in MLS – but he was back in London yesterday.

The left-back was pictured with Wilshere, who he came through Arsenal’s academy with, as they enjoyed watching their former side win 2-0 against West Ham.

Arsenal’s display was actually very impressive yesterday, as they completely outplayed David Moyes’ side.

West Ham have been a dangerous outfit this season, but Arsenal dealt with them with relative ease.

Gibbs and Wilshere surely would have enjoyed their evening at the Emirates Stadium as a result.

Gibbs spent 13 years with Arsenal during his time at the club, making 230 appearances in total.

Wilshere, meanwhile, is currently facing speculation over whether he could sign a contract with the Gunners.

The creative midfielder has been training with Arsenal for some time now.

Mikel Arteta has always previously suggested that Wilshere won’t be given a contract by his side.

However, Football London report that he is starting to become more and more involved in training – with suggestions that he could be offered a new deal only growing louder.
