Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium moves a step closer to reality.

Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium is getting closer to being ready.
Over the weekend the club released an image of the new ground complete with on pitch markings, including a penalty area and six yard box.
The grass was laid a month ago after being shipped in from the Netherlands.
Tottenham had hoped their new stadium would be ready for opening in mid-September.
It has been hit by delays and there is currently no official open date.
There continue to be small signs that progress is being made, and the turf and pitch markings being ready are a positive sign.
Tottenham are playing their home games at Wembley Stadium until the new ground is ready.
