Pau Lopez was training with Tottenham Hotspur’s first team this week amid reports the club want to sign him permanently.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Spurs have decided to pay the €7million (£6million) buyout clause in the loan deal for the Espanyol goalkeeper.

Tottenham’s stars were present taking notes from their boss, with the squad clearly in jovial mood ahead of the fixture, with youngsters Kyle Walker-Peters and Cameron Carter-Vickers front and centre.
Vincent Tottenham are second in the Premier League and can really turn the screw on a Liverpool side who have fallen off the pace after failing to win a league game in 2017, losing their last match to relegation battlers Hull City.
The Reds have though managed draws in their last two games against the top six, holding league leaders Chelsea and getting a point against Manchester United and Old Trafford, and it would be no surprise to see Jurgen Klopp’s side raise their game again for the visit of Tottenham.
