The 19-year-old was linked to Leeds United earlier this season.
If nothing else, at least Leeds United were on the right track in regards to Moise Kean.
Back in December, Spanish outlet Sport reported that Leeds were still interested in the 19-year-old Juventus hitman who they had been linked to before.
A January move never materialised and the teenage striker has gradually grown in prominence under Massimiliano Allegri in 2019.
And to be fair, he won’t be regretting that a move to Elland Road never materialised.
On Saturday, Kean was on the field as Juve were crowned Italian champions for an eighth time in succession.
Kean was photographed in the post-match celebrations, and one in which he is dowsed in champagne.
He isn’t quite one that got away, because we’ll never know if the link to Leeds was even genuine, but what we do is that Kean is a rising star and Allegri’s side look set to reward his rise in profile.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Bianconeri will increase his contract from £500,000 per year to £3 million, with super agent Mino Raiola set for a £3.5 million commission.
