Arms folded and stern faced, Everton boss Ronald Koeman was not happy.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman showed his displeasure with his side as they were beaten at home by Norwich City.

The Dutchman looked on, arms folded and grim faced, as the Toffees failed to score past a team in the division below them.

Norwich won the game 2-0 with former Everton ace Steven Naismith opening the scoring.

Jacob Murphy doubled their lead in the second half and Everton, without Romelu Lukaku, could not reply.

Koeman will undoubtedly be demanding a reaction at the weekend, and not many players did themselves any favours last night.

The loss was especially surprising considering Everton’s outstanding start to the season in the Premier League.

The club have won four of their five games, drawing the other, and sit second in the division.

Norwich though have been in good form themselves, losing just once in eight games, and Alex Neil’s side sit in second position in the Championship behind surprise package Huddersfield Town.
