Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko made a trip back to France on Monday.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko played a starring role in the club’s win over Burnley at the weekend.

Less than 24 hours after his assist for Danny Rose’s winner, Sissoko was spending his day off back in France.

Sissoko returned to his boyhood club to see the facilities and try and inspire the youngsters.

Posting a picture on Twitter, Sissoko proclaimed: “Great time to share and exchange with the young Esperance Aulnaysienne, the club that made me discover and love football.”

Sissoko has come in for plenty of criticism over the past year, at Newcastle United, and at Tottenham after a slow start.

The central midfielder’s latest message shows he might just be misunderstood and misrepresented, and Spurs supporters should be encouraged he is showing some focus towards his passion for the game.
