Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich featured against
Leeds United new boy Mateusz Klich made his debut for the club yesterday, featuring in the 4-2 friendly win over Harrogate Town.
Poland international Klich signed from FC Twente last month, becoming new manager Andreas Christiansen’s first signing.
Also featuring was Hadi Sacko, after his loan move became permanent, although Pontus Jansson was seen coolly watching on from the sidelines – and yes that is Giuseppe Bellusci in the background.
Leeds won the friendly fixture 4-2, through goals from Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez, Lee Erwin, and new signing Madger Gomes, a young Spaniard brought in for free after Liverpool released him.
Rob Green started the first half in goal and was replaced for the second by new signing Felix Wiedwald.
Leeds began the game with Toumani Diagouraga playing in central defence, highlighting their need for further additions in the position.
Toumani Diagouraga hadn’t played for Leeds since the first game of last season
