West Bromwich Albion signed the Poland international on loan last month.

West Bromwich Albion made some impressive signings this summer but even Baggies fans will have been forgiven for double-taking when they secured a loan deal for Paris Saint-Germain’s Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The Poland international was rated as one of the best holding midfielders in Europe prior to his ill-fated switch to PSG and he will be hoping to rediscover his best form during his season-long long at The Hawthorns.

West Brom’s latest signing has been photographed in training for the first time since completing his late switch and manager Tony Pulis will be hoping he can help the Baggies continue their impressive start to the new season.

West Brom are currently fifth in the Premier League with seven points from their first four matches, and with the three sides directly above them only there on goal-difference there are plenty of reasons for Baggies fans to be excited as their club returns to domestic matters after the international break.

Krychowiak only managed 19 appearances for PSG last season, having previously turned out 90 times for Sevilla and 112 times for Stade Reims.

While predominantly a holding midfielder, he also knows where the goal is and has scored 15 times so far in his career.

West Brom take on Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend and they will be quietly confident of getting another three points on the board, while taking nothing for granted at this early stage of the season.
