Rangers have completed the signing of Matt Polster.
The club confirmed the deal on their official website, after Polster had a successful trial at Ibrox.
Polster posed in the Rangers shirt for a photo opportunity to mark the signing getting over the line.
The USA international played against Rangers boss Steven Gerrard while in MLS.
Polster joins from Chicago Fire and has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Polster, 25, can play in midfield and at right-back and will give Steven Gerrard vital extra options.
He becomes Rangers’ sixth signing this month, following Jermain Defoe, Steven Davis, Andy Firth, plus pre-contract agreements with Glen Kamara and Jordan Jones.
Rangers are currently second in the Scottish Premiership table, and face Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup tonight.
