Arsenal fans will be relieved after an image was released on social media of Martin Odegaard looking absolutely fine ahead of Norway training today.
Odegaard rolled his ankle last night and had to be taken off, sparking fears among the Arsenal support.
Both Odegaard and Norway boss Stale Solbakken quickly moved to ease concerns from supporters, by suggesting that they didn’t think the problem was serious.
And the latest photographic evidence suggests that the playmaker is indeed healthy.
Odegaard was pictured walking off the Norway team bus today, with no strapping on his ankle and walking fine.
If the issue was severe, the Arsenal loanee presumably wouldn’t have been able to tackle the steps down off the bus.
But he was seemingly in no pain, and that could only be considered great news for Arsenal supporters.
Odegaard has quickly proven his worth to Mikel Arteta’s side, and they will be hoping that there are no further injury scares over the international break.
Arsenal are next in action in two weekends’ time when they face Liverpool, and Odegaard will surely start if he does remain fit.
