Moussa Sissoko has taken to Twitter to all-but confirm that he has joined Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United, penning a five-year deal with the club.
After a dramatic deadline day saga, Sissoko appears to be a Tottenham Hotspur player, much to the frustration of Premier League rivals Everton.

As reported by Sky Sports, Everton agreed a £30m deal to snap up Sissoko from Newcastle, and the Toffees thought they had landed their man having scheduled a medical and arranged travel for the midfielder to make the switch to Merseyside.
However, Sissoko allegedly turned his phone off and shunned calls from Everton boss Ronald Koeman, and it’s now clear just why he blanked Everton this evening.

The report stated that Tottenham decided to match Everton’s bid for Sissoko, and with the midfielder preferring a move to North London due to the Champions League football on offer, Spurs have got their man in the final knockings of the transfer window.
Tonight, Sissoko has taken to Twitter to post a picture of himself with the Tottenham shirt, and has confirmed that he has signed a five-year contract with Mauricio Pochettino’s men, becoming their fifth signing of the summer, following Victor Wanyama, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Pau Lopez to White Hart Lane.
Sissoko, 27, came in for stern criticism last season as he struggled in Newcastle’s relegation to the Championship, scoring just once and adding seven assists in an up-and-down campaign.
Now though, after impressing for France at Euro 2016, Sissoko appears to be a Tottenham player, and whilst there’s no confirmation from the club just yet, his tweet this evening all but confirms his move to North London.
