Ozil is Arsenal’s highest earning player and joined the club in 2013 for a then club record of £42.5 million from Real Madrid.
The 30-year-old missed Arsenal’s previous Europa League game away to Eintracht Frankfurt, a 3-0 victory.
His only first team appearances have come in the 2-2 draw with Watford in the Premier League and a 5-0 Carabao Cup win over Nottingham Forest.
