Leeds United tied up their second signing of the January transfer window on Tuesday by snapping up midfielder Mateusz Bogusz from Ruch Chorzow.

The Whites had brought in one new face this month, adding Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla to their ranks as Marcelo Bielsa attempts to win promotion.

With Leeds sitting top of the Championship table, huge changes aren’t exactly required, and they have decided to look to the future with their latest signing.

After weeks of speculation, Leeds confirmed the arrival of Polish teenager Mateusz Bogusz on Tuesday, handing him a two-and-a-half year deal.

Bogusz, 17, is already a first-team player for Ruch, and has impressed this season with six goals and one assist to his name.

Touted as one of Polish football’s top young talents, Bogusz has a penchant for scoring spectacular goals, and will now hope to develop alongside compatriot Mateusz Klich in the Leeds midfield.

After signing his contract with Leeds, Bogusz took to Twitter to post a photo alongside Leeds director of football Victor Orta, and seemingly can’t wait to get started at Elland Road.
