Leeds United are set to sign Mateusz Bogusz.

Leeds United are edging closer to completing the signing of Mateusz Bogusz.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reported over the weekend that Bogusz was set to head to Leeds for a medical.

He flew in on Sunday and has now posted a picture to his Instagram page taken in Leeds.

The Poland youth international is a regular for club Ruch Chorzow, scoring five goals at first team level this season.

He will not be trusted by Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa straight away, and will have to prove himself for the club’s under-23 side under Carlos Corberan.

Bielsa has shown a willingness to promote quickly, with Leif Davis making his first team debut just months after his summer switch from Morecambe.

Leeds are expected to make an announcement on Bogusz’s deal shortly.
