Overall it has been a very disappointing start to the season for West Ham, who had Aaron Cresswell sent off on 76 minutes for a second yellow card.
Given that they played with 10 men for the last 15 minutes, and saw Christian Benteke miss a first-half penalty for the Eagles, the post-match celebrations were passionate from a number of West Ham players.
