Tottenham talent travelled with the first team squad this weekend.
Marcus Edwards made his Tottenham debut in midweek against Gillingham, coming on for the final minutes of their EFL Cup clash.
The 17-year-old made an instant impression during his brief cameo, so much so that he was invited to travel with the first team this weekend for their Premier League match.
Edwards was pictured getting off the team coach prior to the Middlesbrough clash, which Spurs went on to win 2-1 through a Heung-Min Son brace.

Edwards did not make the bench despite travelling with the team, but could have been called upon in case of a late injury.
The fact head coach Mauricio Pochettino saw fit to take Edwards along shows how highly the youngster is regarded.

Edwards impressed in pre-season for Spurs and his involvement with the first team is gradually increasing.
His presence in the squad for the Middlesbrough win will have been in part to teach him about what is involved in terms of preparation for a Premier League away game, and to get him familiarised even further with the club’s top stars.
If he continues his rapid progress, it may not be long until he sees action in a Premier League game himself.
