The Leeds United striker could still have a role to play between now and May.

Leeds United winger Mo Barrow has posted a photograph ahead of his side’s Championship clash with Fulham later this week on his official Twitter account, and it seems Whites striker Marcus Antonsson is back in from the cold after being left out of the last five match day squads.

It remains to be seen if the summer signing will make the bench for Tuesday’s clash but it seems as though he will be involved in some form having travelled down to London earlier today.

The Swedish striker arrived at Leeds with quite the reputation after scoring for fun in his homeland. However, he has struggled to replicate his best form so far and has found the net only three times in 21 appearances.

With Chris Wood firing for the Whites, Antonsson has not been needed for quite some time, and even before his omission from the squad he was an unused substitute for almost a month from mid-January to early February.

Still, Monk will know the importance of having all his squad available as Leeds push for a famous promotion back to the top flight and on this evidence Antonsson may get a place on the bench against Fulham…and from there, who knows?
