Marco Silvestri is no longer a Leeds United player.
Marco Silvestri has left Leeds United and sealed a move to Hellas Verona.
The newly promoted Serie A side unveiled Silvestri this evening after he completed a medical earlier today.
He had been with Leeds in Austria before getting permission to fly to Italy to complete his transfer.
The 26-year-old Italian looked delighted to seal his move, pointing to his new club badge and giving a thumbs up.
Silvestri signed for Leeds in 2014 and was the club’s number one for two seasons, under five different managers.
It was sixth time unlucky for the Italian last summer as Garry Monk took over and demoted him to number two behind Robert Green.

Silvestri’s future was further plunged into doubt when Leeds signed Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen earlier this summer.
He now has the chance to relaunch his career back in his homeland, and has a chance to get a run as a first choice goalkeeper in Serie A for the first time, having only been a back-up in the top division previously.
