Radamel Falcao and Thibaut Courtois have enjoyed some good times together in the past.
The game on everyone’s lips this weekend is of course the fixture between Manchester United and Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho takes his side to take on former boss Louis van Gaal in Manchester on Sunday – hoping to continue Chelsea’s excellent start to the new season.
They currently top the league and deservedly so after a superb run of form, so Manchester United will need to have every player on top form.
One of the many excellent individual battles in the game will see Colombian striker Radamel Falcao try to get the better of Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
The Belgian has become the Chelsea number one this season, taking over from Petr Cech since arriving back from a three year loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile Van Gaal has happily used Falcao often this season – despite concerns over his fitness.
Of course the two used to be team-mates.
Falcao was a striking sensation for Atletico before making the move to United via a spell at AS Monaco. The pair even enjoyed a UEFA Europa League victory together back in the 2011-12 season – defeating Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in the final in Bucharest.
The two certainly enjoyed that moment, but tomorrow, they will be sworn enemies.
