Luke Shaw had to pull out of Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Arsenal after just 16 minutes due to an injury.
Manchester United have been ravaged by injury problems this season, and they suffered yet another one on Saturday.
England international defender Luke Shaw started the Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, but just 16 minutes into the contest he had to be substituted.
The 19-year-old picked up an ankle injury after just seven minutes, but he carried on. However, the teenager eventually had to concede that he could not go on any longer and was replaced by Ashley Young.
It will be a huge blow to Shaw, who had struggled with injury problems at the start of the season.
The £30m summer signing from Southampton had looked good in the last few matches for United, but he could now spend some time on the sidelines.
