Carlos Vinicius has joined up with his new Tottenham Hotspur team-mates it seems.
Spurs finally signed a striker on Friday after it was announced that they had captured the Benfica marksman on a season-long loan.
Vinicius is the first number nine that Tottenham have spent money on since signing Fernando Llorente from Swansea City back in 2017.
The towering Brazilian will act as cover for red-hot Harry Kane and it looks like he has joined up with his new colleagues in North London.
And Lucas Moura, a £25 million signing by the Lilywhites in 2018, has posted a photo on Instagram of him and the new boy.
Unfortunately for Tottenham and Jose Mourinho, Vinicius, who stands at 6’3, is ineligible to face Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow.
In fact, Football London reported yesterday that the player hadn’t even received a work permit yet, but it’s expected to be no problem and he could make his debut after the international break.
This is twice as exciting for Spurs because not only do they have Vinicius to look forward to after the two-week hiatus, but that’s also when a certain Gareth Bale is expected to be fit enough for his second debut for the club.
