Arsenal confirmed their latest summer signing on Monday afternoon by finally announcing the arrival of Anderlecht talent Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Lokonga has been linked with Arsenal for weeks now, and fans have been waiting for him to sign on the dotted line for some time.
The Gunners finally announced the move on Monday, and Lokonga looks to have an exciting future ahead of him.
21-year-old Lokonga already has 69 first-team appearances for Anderlecht and was even called into Belgium’s senior squad back in March.
He may still be one for the future, but Lokonga will now be a part of the Arsenal furniture for years to come – something that can’t be said of his predecessor Dani Ceballos.
Lokonga wasted no time in getting down to work, as he immediately began training with his new Arsenal teammates at London Colney.

Arsenal have published a series of photos showing Lokonga in training, including a couple where he is on the ball dictating play whilst Willian watches on.
Other photos had him in shots with the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Alexandre Lacazette, and the youngster will be desperate to make an early impression on boss Mikel Arteta.
