Aaron Lennon completed a loan move from Tottenham to Everton yesterday.
Aaron Lennon has been pictured in Everton training for the first time following his move from Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day, in a picture posted by ITV’s Twitter account.
Lennon joined the Toffees on a loan move until the end of the campaign and he will be aiming to prove a point at Goodison Park.
The rapid winger has fallen out of favour at Spurs this campaign, but he will feel that he still has a lot to offer a side in the Premier League.
Blessed with great pace, Lennon can be a huge threat on his day, but Mauricio Pochettino must have believed that he couldn’t enhance the Lilywhites’ first-team and allowed him to move to get regular action.
At Everton he will be expected to provide them with a new attacking threat and Roberto Martinez will be relying on him getting back to his best.
The Merseyside outfit have struggled for form this term and an injection of fresh blood is what they hope will push the side up the table during the second half of the campaign.
Lennon’s first game for his new club could come this weekend, when the Toffees take on Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.
