The two players completed moves to Leeds this week, with Bamford being announced on Tuesday afternoon.
With Bamford and Harrison lacking preparation time before the new season kicks off at the weekend, knowing each other could help pay instant dividends.
They will help the settling in process off the pitch for each other, and be familiar on it.
Harrison spent time on loan at Middlesbrough last season from Manchester City, before being loaned to Leeds on Monday.
Patrick Bamford already knows loanees Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker from his time at Chelsea too, and Leeds will hope that they can all help each other get off to a fast start.
