Leeds have unveiled their new away strip.

Leeds United have unveiled their new away kit for the 2017/18 season.

Featuring on their promotional image is key man Chris Wood, who The Mirror report is valued by the club at £20 million, an effort to deter suitors.

The use of Wood to promote the new kit is an indication they have no intention of letting the striker leave.

The new kit has a familiar feel to New Zealand ‘All Black’ Chris Wood, whose country play their away games in the colour as well as white for their home strip, just like Leeds United.

It is a departure from the recent yellow away kit and last season’s blue, but fans have given a positive reaction to the new strip, responding to the club’s tweeted image.

It may be a new colour to the past few seasons, but that also helps mark this out as a new era at Leeds.

APOEL's Spanish head coach Thomas Christiansen looks on prior to the Europa League group B football match beetween Young Boys and APOEL at the Stade de Suisse in Bern on October 20, 2016.

The club have a new owner, new manager, new directors, new technical director and new under-23 coach, not to mention more than a dozen new signings at first team and under-23 level.

Leeds will be hoping the fresh start bring new luck in their bid to win promotion.

If they are successful, this 2017/18 kit could become iconic.
