Leeds United won against Derby County in the Championship on Friday evening.

Leeds United maintained their good run of form in the Championship on Friday evening.

The West Yorkshire outfit got the better of Derby County 1-0 at Elland Road, thanks to Chris Wood’s goal on the stroke of half time.

The Whites were all over the Rams and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.

Derby ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Bradley Johnson in the 89th minute.

Luke Ayling featured for Leeds against Derby, starting the game and playing for the entire 90 minutes.

During the game, the 25-year-old summer signing from Bristol City, who can operate as a defender or as a defensive midfielder, clashed with Derby county Richard Keogh (see photo below).

The former Arsenal prospect is playing well for for Garry Monk’s side at the moment and has established himself as an important player in the team.

Leeds will return to action next weekend when they take on Barnsley away from home at Oakwell in the Championship.
