Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United drew with Aston Villa at Elland Road on Sunday.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa and central defender Pontus Jansson are strong characters, and both are key figures in the Whites’ camp.
Bielsa has been superb since he was appointed the Leeds head coach in the summer of 2018, while Jansson has established himself as an Elland Road faithful since he has been at the club.
On Sunday afternoon during the Championship game between the Whites and Aston Villa, when Bielsa wanted his side to allow the Villans to score from kickoff following the controversial Mateusz Klich strike in the 72nd minute, the Sweden international did not want to follow his instructions, as the photo below shows.
The 28-year-old defender did not want Villa to score an uncontested goal and tried to convince Bielsa to change his mind, but in the end, the head coach’s plan was executed.

Both Leeds and Villa have booked their place in the Championship playoffs, and there is a chance that the Whites and the Villans could face each other in the final to clinch promotion to the Premier League.
