Leeds United’s Ouasim Bouy is hoping for a big season in Spain.
Last month Leeds United clinched a deal to sign former Juventus talent Ouasim Bouy, but he will not play for the club in 2017/18.
The defender was immediately loaned out to Spanish second division side Cultural Leonesa, who Leeds are developing a partnership with.
Bouy’s start to the season was delayed by injury but he is now fully available for first team selection and hoping for his chance.
He posted a picture of himself in training for Leonesa yesterday to his Instagram page.
Bouy missed Leonesa’s first game of the season with injury and has been an unused substitute for the past two matches, which his team have won.
His big chance could come tonight (7/9) when Leonesa face Alcorcon in the second round of the Copa Del Rey.
The game provides manager Ruben Fernandez with a chance to rotate his squad and Bouy is likely to be a beneficiary of that.
The 24-year-old signed a four-year deal with Leeds last month and will hope that becoming a regular for Leonesa will set him up for a tilt at the Whites first team next season.
