Expected Leeds United signing Sol Bamba spotted with Souleymane Doukara.
Leeds United attacker Souleymane Doukara has been catching up with prospective signing Sol Bamba.
Doukara posted an image of the pair together on his Instagram page, with the caption: “Guess who i met in paris ?! Sol Bamba!”
Bamba spent the second half of last season on loan with Leeds from Italian club Palermo, becoming a real fan favourite and even going onto captain the club.
It was reported last week by Italian website Tuttomercatoweb, citing Leeds outgoing sporting director Nicola Salerno as a source, that Leeds had wrapped up a deal to sign Bamba permanently, pending official announcement.
The hold-up is seemingly due to Bamba being out of the country, with Marseilles striker Michy Batshuayi posting a photo of the pair together in Paris last week, via Twitter.
Doukara himself is no guarantee to be at Leeds next season, needing to rejuvenate his career at the club after falling out of favour under Neil Redfearn earlier this year.
He has a fresh start under Uwe Rosler and will hope to impress in pre-season, and with a bit of luck he will have Sol Bamba there too with him.
