Tottenham’s Kyle Walker returned to action last night.
Tottenham Hotspur star Kyle Walker made his return to action for the club on Monday night, in an under-21 clash.
The England international right-back has missed the entire season through injury, and his comeback is a major boost to the club.
He played 66 minutes in the 2-1 win over Manchester City, with Spurs easing him back into action.
Shaq Coulthirst scored both Tottenham’s goals, with Bersant Celina netting for City.
Walker took to Twitter after the game to express his delight at his return, and was welcomed back by his teammates, Andros Townsend and Roberto Soldado.
His return could see the incoming DeAndre Yedlin stick to his schedule to join next July, rather than in January as has been speculated.
