The Lilywhites are hunting down Arsenal to qualify for the Champions League.
And any injury to their best players certainly jeopardises that ambition for Tottenham.
Dejan Kulusevski will be returning to Hotspur Way in working order alright, but he might also bring one heck of a shiner back with him.
The Spurs winger, who joined on loan from Juventus in Janaury, helped Sweden to a World Cup playoff final place following a 1-0 victory over Czech Republic on Thursday night.
However, the Tottenham attacker took a blow to the face during the game and a photograph on Twitter appears to show the extent of it.
Kulusevski’s cheek looks heavily swollen and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the damage is seen around his eye area over the coming days.

Despite the severity of the blow, it shouldn’t hinder Kulusevski’s playing time.
The Juventus winger has been a brilliant addition by Tottenham’s Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici thus far, netting two goals and four assists in nine Premier League outings.
Considering he only managed one goal and three assists in 20 appearances for Juve during the first half of the campaign, you could argue that Conte’s getting a lot more out of him.
