Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers swept aside the Dee tonight.
Rangers put Dundee to the sword with a ruthless first-half showing in tonight’s 4-0 win at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard’s side scored three first half goals through Glen Kamara, James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos.
It was Kamara’s first goal for Rangers and it came against the club he left in January.
He wasn’t the only man coming up against his former team this evening, as the Dee hitman Kenny Miller returned to Ibrox.
The legendary former Rangers marksman had a 22-minute cameo on his old stomping ground, but couldn’t do much about the result.
Jermain Defoe added gloss to the scoreline late on as Gerrard’s troops stay eight points behind Premiership leaders Celtic, who scored a last-minute winner away at Hearts tonight.
Neil Lennon returned to the Celtic dugout after being named as Brendan Rodgers’s successor, following the latter’s shock move to Leicester City.
