Celtic’s Moussa Dembele has been making waves for the senior side this season, but it was his namesake Karamoko Dembele who made the headlines this week after coming off the bench for the Bhoys’ under-20 side aged just 13.
There are wonder-kids aplenty in the footballing world yet when it comes to Dembele he is already featuring for a side seven years above his age group.

Celtic have a number of exciting young players in their ranks but few fans would have expected a 13-year-old to feature for the second string so soon into his development.
It speaks volumes for the Ivorian’s ability and it will be interesting to see how he blossoms in the years ahead, with Celtic unafraid to give the next generation a chance if they are deemed good enough.
