Loris Karius has stepped up to become the unquestioned number one, reducing Simon Mignolet to back-up.
Their hopes of signing Alisson from Roma also appear unlikely, with the Independent reporting that the Italian side state there is ‘zero chance’ he will be sold.
Karius’ form means Alisson is not essential anyway, and Liverpool could simply need a back-up to replace Simon Mignolet.
Step forward Kamil Grabara.
Grabara was pictured training with Liverpool’s first team earlier this week, seen above with Andrew Robertson.
The Pole is 19-years-old and has been a regular for Liverpool at under-23 level.
Liverpool do have money to spend this summer but if they are happy with Karius then they will just be in the market for a back-up anyway.
Simon Mignolet seems destined to move on this summer, and it’s up to Grabara to show he can take his role as number two.
