Aston Villa have introduced Lovre Kalinic this afternoon.

Aston Villa have today introduced goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic to fans after he arrived to start his career with the club.
Ahead of the January transfer window, Villa set up a big-money deal with Belgian club Gent for Kalinic, with the deal to go through on January 1st.
That deal did go through, but Jed Steer started for Villa against Queens Park Rangers on New Years Day, after Orjan Nyland’s injury.
Today, Kalinic showed up to Villa training for the first time and was pictured in Villa gear by the club’s official Twitter account.
Kalinic will take number 28 at Villa Park, and is widely expected to go straight in as Villa’s new first-choice goalkeeper.
Nyland wasn’t exactly convincing, but his injury forced the club to recall Steer, with Andre Moreira and Mark Bunn pretty much forgotten men at this point.
Kalinic couldn’t play on New Years Day, and boss Smith confirmed to the club’s official website that his absence was because Villa were waiting for international clearance.
“We’re just waiting for his international clearance to come through,” said Smith. “We’ve got Jed back now also, so are well covered after Ørjan’s unfortunate injury,” he added.
