Manchester United’s record signing is preparing to make his debut.
Juan Mata makes his debut for Manchester United shortly, in a home fixture against Cardiff City.
The team is as follows:
Manchester United: De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Jones, Giggs, Young, Mata, Van Persie
Subs: Lindegaard, Cleverley, Fletcher, Januzaj, Kagawa, Hernandez, Rooney
Mata signed over the weekend in a club record £37.1 million deal from Chelsea, and has been hailed as the player to save their flagging season. The return to fitness of Wayne Rooney could be just as significant.
