Mauricio Pochettino has been keen to test out Tottenham Hotspur’s youngsters in pre-season by handing them chances to train with the first-team.
Young Tottenham Hotspur defender Jon Dinzeyi has been spotted in senior training today.
Spurs posted a selection of pictures from the training ground on Twitter, and Dinzeyi was seen wearing the number 62 shirt.
Mauricio Pochettino has clearly been keen to use pre-season to take a look at the prospect, who has been regarded as an excellent talent for some time.
Dinzeyi was called into Tottenham’s under-18 side at the age of 15, when his talent was spotted.
Dinzeyi has now been playing at under-18 level for some years, but he is still waiting to make his senior debut.
It seems unlikely that Dinzeyi will feature as part of Tottenham’s squad for next season, but he will be looking to prove his worth to Pochettino over pre-season.
