Izzy Brown has been in action for Leeds United’s under-23’s today.

Leeds United’s first team had no fixture this weekend, but their Under-23’s were in action today, beating Bolton Wanderers at Elland Road.
After a goalless first half, Leeds scored twice, with Jordan Stevens and Robbie Gotts getting on the scoresheet to secure a 2-0 win.
Carlos Corberan will be delighted with how his side performed, and giving minutes to first teamers Gaetano Berardi, Stuart Dallas and Izzy Brown was another boost.
The trio, coming back from respective injuries, all played 45 minutes before being substituted ahead of facing Bolton’s first team this coming weekend.
Brown may finally be in contention for a Championship start, and he may become hugely important with Kemar Roofe now out through an injury of his own.

Brown arrived injured from Chelsea in August, with Leeds knowing that he would probably only be at his best early into 2019 – and he is now on his way back to full fitness after some spots on the Leeds bench of late.
Today, Brown appeared at Elland Road in a Leeds shirt for the first time, and the club’s official Twitter account celebrated that fact, giving Leeds fans a welcome boost ahead of a first start for the club.
