Tottenham’s new stadium is coming along nicely.

Tottenham Hotspur may be struggling with the adjustment to playing at Wembley at time this season, but there is a reward waiting for them at the end of it.

The reason they are there is because their new ground is being constructed, on land partially used for former ground White Hart Lane which is being demolished.

The new ground is planned to open in time for 2018/18, and already it is taking great shape.

Tottenham posted a photo onto Instagram yesterday from the top of the current build, and it looks spectacular.

There is clearly a lot of work to do to get the new ground fully functional for next season, but there is steady progress so far.

The ground will be larger than Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, and Spurs will hope to make it a fortress like White Hart Lane was in it’s final year.

The stadium will also be used to host NFL games in addition to Tottenham’s football fixtures.
