Leeds United winger Jack Clarke stays with agent.

Leeds United's Jack Clarke battles with Nottingham Forest's Ben Osborn at Elland Road on October 27, 2018 in Leeds, England.

Leeds United winger Jack Clarke has enjoyed a rapid rise to first team football this season.

The 17-year-old has made an impressive impact, and The Sun reported that Manchester City are keen on the teenager.

So it will please Leeds fans that Clarke has agreed to continue being represented by agent Ian Harte, former Whites left-back.

Harte shared the news via Twitter, that he has re-signed Clarke.

Clarke is under contract to Leeds until 2021 after penning a deal last season.

Re-signing with Harte does not prevent Clarke from leaving the club, but it does make it more likely he would stay.

Harte recently commented on Twitter to issue his full faith in manager Marcelo Bielsa to make the right decisions over Clarke.

It does not appear like as his agent, Harte would agitate for a move for the player.

Harte also has roles representing other Leeds talents like Tyler Denton.

It is not in his interest in terms of reputation with the club or the fans, to make Clarke seek an exit.

Clarke’s decision to stick with Harte shows he is not being swayed by the recent rumours and latest success, and is keeping his focus.
